SMS privacy policy
This policy covers the optional Eastern Movement SMS program for Kevin East’s existing personal training clients, and its pages on squaretech.nl. It does not cover the Scrivo app, which has a separate policy.
Who handles your information
Kevin East, under the Eastern Movement brand, provides the personal training service and is responsible for its client communications. Squaretech provides this website, software, messaging infrastructure, and technical support. Squaretech processes the program’s client information to operate the service for Eastern Movement, not for its own advertising.

What the program collects
- Your name and mobile phone number.
- Your SMS consent record, including the signed form, consent wording, date, and any later withdrawal of consent.
- Messages you send, including training goals, experience, availability, and preferences.
- Message delivery information and operational records needed to manage replies, support requests, and opt-outs.
Please discuss medical history, injuries, diagnoses, and other sensitive health information directly with Kevin instead of sending those details by SMS.
How information is used
Information is used to confirm enrollment, ask session-preparation questions, coordinate training, provide related follow-up, respond to support requests, and respect your messaging choices. Kevin receives the information you provide for your training. Authorized Squaretech personnel may access it when necessary to operate or support the program.
The SMS program is voluntary and relies on your opt-in. Where applicable, information is also processed to provide the service you request, protect the service, keep evidence of consent, and meet legal obligations.
Mobile information and consent are not for sale
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Phone numbers, SMS opt-in data, and consent records are not sold, rented, or shared for another business’s own messaging or marketing. Your consent applies only to Eastern Movement’s client messaging program.
Service providers, including Amazon Web Services and the telecommunications providers involved in delivering messages, process the information needed to operate this program. Such processing is for service delivery, not permission to contact you for their own marketing. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.
Storage and retention
The technical service uses AWS infrastructure, with application storage planned in the Frankfurt region. SMS delivery also involves US carriers and may involve service providers in other countries. SMS is not an end-to-end encrypted communication channel.
Client information is kept only for as long as needed for the program, support, and applicable recordkeeping obligations. Consent and opt-out records may be retained after messaging ends so that we can demonstrate permission and prevent unwanted messages. You may request deletion; we will explain if particular records must be retained.
Your choices and rights
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may receive one confirmation of your opt-out. Reply HELP for assistance, or contact Kevin at the support email above. You can also ask Kevin to stop the texts. Declining or withdrawing SMS consent does not prevent you from receiving personal training.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive a portable copy, withdraw consent, or complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to make a request; we may need to verify your identity.
This website
These program pages do not use advertising trackers, analytics scripts, or signup cookies. They are static informational pages. The printable form does not send data online. Hosting and network providers receive standard request information, such as your IP address, to serve and protect the site.
Changes
Updates will appear here with a revised effective date. A material change to the purpose of messaging requires appropriate notice and, where necessary, new consent.
